Storing Woollen Clothes
- Always put your garment away clean. This will prevent damage to your woollen garment from moths and carpet beetles (the insects’ larva is attracted to areas of cloth that are soiled with food stains and body oil).
- Packing your garment in airtight containers (such as well-sealed garment bags or boxes and trunks with secure lids) will give you added protection. Cold storage (temperatures of 40° F/4° C or lower) will also prevent infestation.
